Dr Michael Cejnar

Dr Michael Cejnar, is a Sydney cardiologist and biomedical engineering entrepreneur, who founded the cross-disciplinary FIC Technology in 2011 with the goal of developing practical classroom tools for evidence-based teaching and learning in K- 12 education. FIC Technology is using cloud-based Learning Analytics of laptop use in classrooms to provide teachers with real-time indication of context-based on-taskness, ICT skills and diagnostics of learning processes. Analysis of this data has enabled an understanding of usage patterns of classroom ICT and student's skills sets, necessary for effective and efficient use of ICT in K-12.
