Helen Haralambous

Helen is a secondary Mathematics Education consultant for the Mathematical Association of Victoria. She has been involved in education for over 30 years; this includes teaching secondary school mathematics in four different schools and holding numerous leadership positions in Mathematics, numeracy, curriculum, professional development and student wellbeing & management. Helen also spent 12 months working as an education consultant at the Australian Bureau of Statistics and has co-authored a series of Year 7 – 10 mathematics textbooks. Her passion is in making mathematics more engaging & enjoyable through incorporating hands-on mathematical tasks, real life application activities, and games into the maths classroom.
